Design: This hand cuff was inspired by the idea of tea time. When I think of 'tea time' I am reminded of when my mother used to throw poetry tea parties for my sisters and friends. We would all pick out our favorite poems, eat finger sandwiches, and drink tea with our pinky fingers up. I knew I wanted to used Right Angle Weave beading techniques and a monochromatic color scheme.
Construction: Right Angle Weave, circular peyote, and traditional peyote weaves were used to construct this hand cuff. The beaded netting wraps around the pinky and index finger to symbolize the proper tea party edicate.
